(wtb) budget cd player

Can anyone please suggest me any budget cd player with range of price below Rm1.5k.Thank for the help and time.I really confuse either from marantz,cambridge audio or denon.

Suggests you the Cambridge 640C listed above by lohtm11. And as mentioned elsewhere, the Marantz models (at least the latest cd6003). Very Happy. Just check their condition and any warranty if used. I got the Cambridge Azur 840C posted here which is about a third of the price of RM7K RRP I saw at Harvey Normans 'On Sale' last weekend.

I have modified Rotel RCD-965BX, upgradeable opamp. Already upgrade to OPA627, add more detail & dynamic. The player already musical, price only RM750 without remote. Can help find Philips remote. Suggest try find Rotel RCD-971 or better RCD-991, if you lucky, you will never regret.

Lastly, if you like special TDA1549 (DAC inside CD) & CDM 4, I have Micromega Minium CD Player with remote (Made in Europe). Price only RM850 & suggest upgrade opamp to OPA627 or LM6172 & reclock. Refer :http://www.lampizator.eu/LAMPIZATOR/CD_player_ranking.html
Before this using CA 640V2 but too bright even with my tube amp (after burn-in 500 hours).
