I really confuse now I really want to get good cd player but constraint by my budget can anyone suggest what is the best cd player I can et below rm1500.If anyone want to sell their stuff to me also invited .Pls hely this newbie thank you

What's your other equipment? A good CDP for someone else might not be good for you. Need to match with your setup.

For the time being i dont have any other setting.i setting up budget hifi below 4 k starting with cd player.The music i like to listen is acoustic guitar and slow music .Please give me any advice on what kind of cd player ok for me looking on marantz cd5003 or denon 700.Maybe any other model i should look on

Then Marantz will be a good choice..... 5003..6003..all capable all rounder. you will not go wrong...also good resale value.

viboys88, CD5003 is good and cheap too. Match it with PM6003. That will
cost you less than 3k. Use the balance for a good set of speakers.
Wharfedale 10.1 is a good match. Good way to start for less than 4k. Not
sure enough for a good pair of speaker stand or not. Shop around and
see. Audition first if you have the chance.

But I saw from some other forum that the marantz 5003 is actualy the same as 5001 the only difference is the exterior .Is there any other model i should look on

IMHO, if you don't mind a step 'back' in terms of model, you can consider a 'close-out' model, the Marantz SA7001, esp the KI Version. I bought one last year from Hiway Laser for much lower price than the RRP. I believe they still have one demo unit to clear you can haggle down the price further. I saw another last unit in 1U Hi-fi (New Wing). Spoke to a couple of seller/dealer who actually recommend this model even compared with the current SA7003 that I was actually intending to buy in the first place.

FYI, last night was at A&L Amcorp Mall and and coincidently listened to a SA7001 hooked up to a system comprising of VTL Amps and RM50K speakers and didn't seem out of place. This is after listening to Rega TT at Asia Sound earlier, which I must say did put a wide grin across my face. But when I got back home later and listened to my SA7001KI, the silver disc is still ok for my set-up.. (Phew.. but I'm returning to listen to another tt deck maybe next week).

Give it a go, btw, this KI is the first Marantz SACD Model with the Ken Ishiwata twist, now out comes the KI Pearl Series. FYI, I have another Marantz DV7001, an OPPO83 for universal/mc duty, an Azur 840C and Simaudio Moon Equinox and Benchmark DAC1 as companion spinners for my silver disc in my system now. Good luck ..

I use NAD C515 BEE before. If compare to Marantz CD6002 (which I also
owned previously before upgrading to CD6003), the NAD is warmer and very
good for vocal. Never tried any Cambridge before.

zeebee i called a and l men its rm2300 though it is display model beyond my budget hehe.I know KI suppose to be one of the best from Marantz perhaps maybe there is any other budget model that you can suggest

arremie so what u think about 6003 is it better than nad.I prefer the clarity of the music rather than the vocal.How much you bought it for?marantz cd6003 and nad .Where do you think i can get better price.I already check out wo kee hong and hiway laser.wo kee hong 2 years warranty but rm1790,hi way laser 1 year warranty rm1590
