Ce sont ces petits riens
Qui me venaient de vous
Les voulez-vous ?
Tenez ! Que voulez-vous ?
Moi je ne veux pour rien
Au monde plus rien de vous
Pour être à vous
Faut être à moitié fou
Nice "Those Little Things" ! C'est chanson magnifique!

Re: Audiophile CDs
Hi mustafa,
I noticed too that rock corner promoting their new new jazz collection CD (dual-disc), not too sure about their remastering quality (unless they remastered from the original disc or LP which is extremely expensive). Since i have most of the songs from the original CDs, ABC records, Premium, i have no intention to buy this album.
Perhaps other forumers who own this CD can spare us their view.
Cheers,
Auronthas

Re: Audiophile CDs
I am thinking of getting one or two CDs at this year's KLIAV show.
Just to have a try. There were lots of China pressed Hi Fi CDs last year.
My uncle bought 2 and lent me.
One of them is very good indeed but the other is not that good.
Hope that I am lucky and can get a nice one..

Bonjour!
Non je ne suis pas, mais mon ordinateur ne.
La seule chanson française drôle que j'ai jamais entendu parler de la Mer a été chanté par Mr Bean.
Je vois que vous êtes un amateur de Francis Cabrel.
Apprécier!

Re: Audiophile CDs

Singing in French, Portuguese, and English, the full, clear, fine grained voice of Ms Alysson combined with the excellent accompaniment really shine in this 'light-footed" repertoire.
Which makes it more French than anything else.
My favorite is Track 5. even though her rendition of it had not achieved a sense of loss and desperation as was intended, the attempt is still emotionally charged. Gil did better here with the 'wailing' of his accordian.

Re: Audiophile CDs
Bought two audiophile CDs recently, i believe they are newly released in our local market, namely The Absolute Sound TAS 2008 and Red Hot Audiophile 2009.
IMO, quality of recording/remastering of these CDs are superb and nice collection, especially the former, Classical, Jazz, Folks, Easy Listening.
A few recommended tracks are such as
a) Paganini Violin Concerto No. 4 in D Minor - lively, instruments are clearly separated/defined, dynamic
b) Lynn Hillary 's Melody of Life - currently one of the members of Celtic Woman - sweet, lovely voice and nice tunes
c) Desperado by Malene Mortensen
Attached images showing the song titles. Enjoy the music.

Re: Audiophile CDs
I just hauled in 2 nice CD's over the week end.
1. Cai Qin (Tsai Chin) Lao Ge WEA Japan gold cd. I believe this is the next best thing to the Sanyo issue which cost a bomb.
2. Telarc Round Up - Hybrid SACD
Lets see how the Round Up fares against my early pressing of the same title. I can only compare the Red book layer as I don't have a SACD player.
Update:
The Telarc Round up SACD WAS SUPERB!... I can't complain. Telarc lived up to it on this edition. I can only imagine how good it'll be on multi channel surround.
