An Invitation - Listening Party for Audiophile Album

hi guys,

let me introduce myself.... i am maggielurva, the
producer of 2V1G (2 voices 1 guitar), the first made-in-malaysia
audiophile album that has sold over 10,000 copies worldwide and still
counting :-)

the good news is, after a delay of close to a year, our recording studio is ready!

we will be soon launching 4 albums in 2010..... all with different concepts and themes.

first off the list is this english album called 'love's tapestry"
featuring roger wang on guitar and gina panizales (a filippino) on
vocals. it is a collection of classic english pop love songs of the 70s
and 80s.

we are confident that it will be the best ever audiophile recording made in malaysia.

to make it special for audiophiles like you, we will be having a listening
party at CMY naim gallery @ damansara utama in the first week of
december 2009.

you will be the first in world to listen to the master tape, which is mastered by mastering guru doug sax from the mastering lab, USA.

we don't have the exact date yet but please monitor the following blogs:

Hahaha.. reminds me of going to a movie... you can munch those outside, whilst we listen to the tapes.

Most of the new songs only consist of guitar and vocal?
Any other instruments used?

Heard alot about the 2V1G album so last week I went out and got it. Listened to it in my car on an hour long jam on my way home from work. Then reached home and listened to it somemore in my 70s lounge.

Nice voices, nice guitar. Roger did his best emulating a one man band and as great a guitarist as he is, there is truely only one Les Paul.

After almost 2 hours of straight listening I kinda longed for maybe a drumset... maybe a violin, a cello, a doublebass...

Glad to hear the new album will stretch the 1G a little farther. I'll be tuning in.
