Price of latest Harbeth P3

Anyone have any idea what is the ball park price of the latest Harbeth P3ESR ?

Although this may not be relevant, this is additional information on the relatively low price the local Harbeth dealer here is able to offer to potential Harbeth owners in Malaysia.

The P3ESR retails for £1,350 and sells at a cheaper price here in Malaysia after conversion. The cheapest brand new pair of P3ESR being sold by US dealers is priced at US$1,995 which is still more costly than the price that is offered by our local Harbeth dealer. In fact the prices of Harbeth speakers here are the cheapest in the world, I believe.

In normal circumstances most speakers(and equipment) sold at dealers are marked up at higher prices. For instance, the retail of the Proac Tablette Reference 8 Signature is £865, special finishes £970 but are sold at higher prices here in Malaysia.

To summarise, for those looking at a long-term investment with the Harbeth, it is a no-brainer to go with a brand new pair.

indeed. I wonder how Sam do it while the price of most branded hifi item by other dealers are highly marked up in our country.

Possibly having a strong connection with the UK manufacturer being a dealer for more than 20 years. The SHL5 which retails at £2,279 is the biggest bang for the buck as US dealers are selling them at US$4,850 on Audiogon. Some Asian dealers(or individuals) are taking advantage of the American market by selling brand new SHL5s there at US$3,700 which is still approximately RM3k more costly than our local dealer's price. The prices of Harbeth speakers are unbeatable in this region.
