Reading the posts about Mr. Oh from over here in Germany, I feel a strong urge to share my view.

If you want to meet a superb, and mind-blowing knowledgable hifi-enthusiast, drop your 20k-USD-pre-amp, -power amp or -CD-player from approx. 3m height on a concrete floor. Then call Mr. Oh and watch him fixing it back to its original condition. When you finally ask "How much, Mr. Oh?", you will ask yourself "Why so cheap?". Then do not hesitate to round up to the next full hundred or thousand MYR.

Besides having back your beloved hifi-toy in excellent working condition, you will have made the experience of having met one of the last truly passionate, helpful, honest and sincere human beings on this globe. An experience, you will remember for life. Trust me.

1) your av rack decided to give way?
2) kids rammed into the system?
3) some driver on mary-jane drove into the premise?

if my system had dropped from a 3m (10feet) height, other bio-spherical things oso drop. the floor would cost a lot to fix. ouch.

I am Edmund Jude, i am dealing with the repair of professional audio equipment.
I would like to say that I am shocked to see my name dragged into this subject of the forum. I have been in the audio repair business for about 15 years dealing with servicing of high powered amplifiers, studio equipment, live sound equipment, electronic musical instruments and digital audio repairs.

I have great respect for Mr. Oh and his hifi repair skills. Mr. Oh is the specialist for Hifi Repairs. I am specializing in Pro-Audio Equipment and Musical Instrument Repairs. These are two different areas of Audio Equipment. Mr. Oh has been doing a great job with the hifi equipment and therefore has a lot of hifi kaki's which love the repair works that he does.

I deal with a different group of customers. My customers involve musicians, audio engineers, event companies, hotels, clubs, pubs etc.

My point is that Mr. Oh and I are two different people who are dealing with audio equipment repairs. Both of Us have many customers giving us repair work and therefore I suggest that everyone in this forum to look at us as two friends dealing in the same type of business

I guess you worry too much. Your name was merely mentioned briefly by one of 2 members and you were definitely now dragged into some argument started by a 'good friend' of Mr. Oh.

I looked through the whole thread and could not find any trace of what you claimed " We have no intention in spoiling each others reputation" Believe me, no one suggested it at all.

Hi Chen,
It's not that I worry too much. But I am also a friend of Mr. Oh and I just wanted to let everyone know that I treat Mr. Oh as a friend rather than a competitor and i was not happy to see my name being dragged into the comments by people who were basically fighting about the pro's and cons of Mr. Oh's work.

I have another satisfactory result from Mr. Oh recently so whatever people says, I will always go back to him for the next one

I think Mr. Oh is a gentleman and a gem. I picked up my Onix OA20/2 from him yesterday, after only about 2 weeks. I had expected it to be at least a month after seeing all the stuff he had to repair.
It had earlier shorted internally and fried my speakers. I seriously think he did a fine job of not only fixing it, but restored all the internals to its original specifications and also cleaned up all the circuits without even me asking him to do it. If that is not 1st class service, I dont know what is. My thanks to Mr. Oh and now my Onix is singing ever so sweetly.

Agree with you, he have been rejected my integrated amp for repair, always must depends of his work load~~~~~!

Another vote for Mr Oh. Helpful and knowledgeable. Somebody I will seek advise from before I purchased pre owned items to make sure he can repair if it's damage otherwise I may not buy

Hi All...

As most external DAC's are sold at mind boggling price's.. even the used units....phew....

Decided just to upgrade the DAC chip for my CDP.

Naturally I went back to Mr Oh...as he is the one who gave a new lease of life to my CDP where all else failed.

Selected a BB DAC chip...was bright during the initial play...but it's mellowing to a ear pleasing sonics....

His workmanship....in short ...it was a precision work of art.... . Another feather in his cap.

To Mr Oh....hats off and thank you so much... and the desire to get an external DAC gear has taken a back seat...
