Audio Research LS-5MkIII. Anybody Own This Line Stage?

Does anybody own this line stage? I am interested to know how this piece would compare with the LS-26.

Hi dont look at the past yes ls5 mk 3 is good too-wide in the sound stage i prefer an ls2 which i would not sell i also have sp10 mk 2 which is better then ls5 mk 3 i would and am getting music first passive pre with transformers used to adjust the volume and secondly there are other good pres like cat ultimate,nat audio,karan acoustics,first sound audio and others Regards Milan

Thanks for the response. I didn't end up with the LS5Mk3 though. At one point of time I had the LS16 and contemplated to move up the ARC line. Was considering this piece since the LS26's price was a bit too much I was willing to pay. Anyway I have sold the ARC pre and moved on to something else. Cheers.
