This TX-NR1007 actually is almost the same as the TX-NR1008 or 1009, just this 1007 doesn't support for HDMi 1.4a which is 3D ready. So if you are using a 3D LCD/LED tv, but don't want to spend RM8K for 1008 or 1009, how??? Easy, just go to get a good HDMi splitter, and then connect the BD player into the HDMi splitter, then split 2 sets of HDMi cable, 1 go to the amplifer for DTS HD or Dolby Thru HD, and the other go to the LCD/LED tv. There you go to get the 3D ready. A good quality HDMi splitter will be costing less than RM400-500. Mostly can get at around RM200++.
