Sheesh,
these Chinese boys had better get a good grip of the English language before attempting to go international.
Can't figure out what heck he wants.
I've got a four outlet "power" distributor I may just want to recommend him. Razz
Wonder if the stuff he's selling is anything like his language skills. Evil or Very Mad
Little wonder that I don't buy stuff from China if I can avoid it.

Cheers & Shalom

well, our "england" isn't exactly too podwerful here either.

But our 中国 friend here is probably looking in the wrong places to expand his business.

He should physically make a trip here, check out the local hi-fi scene, then decide if and when and how he would like to build in-roads here.

Who knows, his merchandise might be another Shanling or Audio-GD type of brand to give more choices to the local consumers.

Why aren't the England-based members of icon Audio helping out with business development in SE Asia? Or do they think that the Chinese can handle it all? You can sometimes take the industry out of the cottage, but you can't take the cottage out of the industry.

You could laugh at the mainland Chinese but they could launch rockets, missiles, space shittle probably with all their researchl conducted in Chinese.

Honestly, I am not proud of Malaysian English at all if you read some write up in this forum. Our standard has slipped. If you notice how the mainland Chinese converse in English in their English TV channels, you wil realise we no longer have the advantage of better command of English as we used to have in the 60's.

It is very naive to look down upon mainland Chinese. They isn't anything the mainland Chinese cannot build if they could build a rocket from scratch. I cannot understand how some Malaysians are still very pround of their Proton:) a product which I will never buy even if its manual is written in perfect English.

Katak di bawah tempurong, I see.

seriously... i think you're taking this a little too far...

the blatant fact is that the likelihood of the forum-reading public's opinion of Icon Audio being a positive one as a result of Jimmy's pronouncements, is fairly low...

Time out all....this is not a place to debate english proficiency nor it is about Malaysia vs China...

I think a lot of forummers here is getting annoyed of Jimmy's approach on expanding his Icon Audio market.

1. Jimmy needs to do some research on the hifi market, sellers here. If not able to come here, internet is still a good source.

2. Contact the local companies directly and not posting and reposting articles again and again.

3. Stop putting inappropriate articles on love with hifi award pictures but asking how much to buy/repair a watch???

4. Learn and adapt to this forum/Malaysia/Singapore customs and humour as I am sure the humour in this thread is harmless to start with.

I am sure the forummers/distributors here cannot take Jimmy seriously if he continue to do some of the items above. I know I won't.

Mate, you beat me to it... missed this topic last night... lol! lol!

Technically you r right bro.. 'Power' .. 'Distributor' .. TNB pylons, PPU, Substation .. Very Happy

BTW chill out everyone either english speaking or nein sprechen sie englisch human.. Join the political blogs or nominate yourself for the PRU13 looming next year if you feel so strongly about it. Hey, meet the MP Cameraman the other day, made good his talent ..who know a hf4s kaki can be one cheers No tax for hifi imports sunny

Have to give credit to Jimmy though for diligence and perseverance to market his products..His products look good but the price when converted from RB to RM seems very high.. and good luck to him. cheers

Guys, i had a real good laugh!

Let's give Jimmy a break.....with Malaysian hospitality.

I suppose CMY Sound & Vision is the biggest around with 7 outlets.

Followed by A&L Audio with 5 outlets and Perfect Hifi 4 outlets.

These are just mere indicators of outlets, not taking into consideration their financial strength.
