It's hard to come by in used market and I've seen in Singapore selling for SGD3800 for non upgrade 08kit version. New selling price is about 13.5K b4 discount.. .

I think you should get some better footers lah. I think the poor Arcams don't deserve to suffer the ignominy of sitting on rubber door stoppers...hehe. Quoting from Nordost: "The most successful equipment support strategies are designed to deal specifically with draining mechanical energy out of your electronics and into the supporting structure." Rubber feet can't do that.

From that wishlist, perhaps the single biggest improvement you can do would be to get proper speaker stands. Try the metal column types where u can fill up with sand, or ask the shop guy to do it for you.

haha.. agree

that's the most obvious accessory needed i guess from the pic

although, someone told me metal shots (not sure what they are called) are better than sand fill which is heavier and more dense.

cheers....

Lead is OK, just don't put it in your mouth or something lah .... lol!

Alot of household things have lead. like Pewter, electrical Solder, etc....

But its not used for bowls, plates or eating utensils or in household water piping because lead is poisonous but only if you eat it.

You may not want to make the speaker stand as dense or as heavy as possible. Because it doesnt always lead to a better sound.

Who knows, the harmless wooden chair is a match for the speaker? Strange things do happen in the hifi world of tweak.

Do get a decent interconnect as well~

for argument purpose...

either the wooden chair is match for speaker nor it is not, i would have to eventually get a decent stand since people at my place is getting angry for getting their stool... Very Happy

later la...
