Hey!.. you must take your hat off to their vivid imagination and ingenuity. How many here would have thought there's use for laundry pegs for hifi tweakery?
What can they think of next?.. condom? slice it up and make a turntable belt.. its possible you know..and can be used a few times over.
BTW, surgical thread (the one used for stitchings in medical operations) can be used for TT belt.
Dental Gauss also proven effective as use for TT belt. I still can find usable parts hacked from HDD's for use in hifi tweaks.
Lagi snake charming here?

I used to think the resonators (Frank Chang's thingies) were snake oil but damn... that shite actually works.

I'm really surprised that Van Den Hul would make health bangles. That's really very un-VDH.

Are the bangles being designed at the time when MR A.J vdH is not in a healthy condition?

Hi, Did you really buy those and treat your room?
Are they really that effective as claimed by Franck Tchang?
Which series did you buy? Copper, Silver, Gold or Titanium?
I am curious as I couldnt hear the difference during the presentation at the recent KLAV show.
Regards.

Re: Snake oil in Hi-Fi - Suggestions?
I actually bought mine well before the KLAV show.
Frank Tchang's presentation was not good due to loud music from the other showrooms.
But when tried out in my listening room, it actually improved my listening experience.
I've got the basic set of 1 copper and 2 silvers.
But that Frank guy is a really good salesman. I told him so and he was not that pleased even though he offered me a ciggie.

I bet I will hear the difference if I were to place a cow between my speakers. Just difference; and not necessary the ultimate hearing experience I am looking for.

Place a brasscrapper between your speakers instead. The cow will crap all over your floor.

Essentially the soundstaging improved and there was better definition. Almost like my room was bigger than what it was.
But that's just me. Others may say hogwash.

Not to worry. I am sure there are also many others who had similar experience as you.
