Soundstage Stage 1.5 integrated amp - info

There is a used unit for sale in the ads here and one of my friend is considering it to drive his Acoustic Energy 109 speakers. I would appreciate if anyone can advise on the following:-

1) Where is this amp made from, China or Malaysia
2) How much is this amp brand new

Thanks for the link. I tried to search for a review in The Star Audiofile section but cannot find one. There is not even a website for this manufacturer and I can hardly find any write-up on this obscure brand on the web, not to mention anything useful about this particular model.
