only half the attached photos showing

hi, wonder if it happens to ohter users as well. in my browser, only the left portion of the picture shows, if it is wider than the message frame. it gives the impression that the photo was purposely taken to conceal details. however if the link of the picture and open in another window, the actual size of the picture can be seen.

if this happens to everyone else, then it must be the setting of the phpbb forum theme that fixed the width of the message frame. this will require some attention from dear admin

Its due to the size of the photo being linked to the webpage. As for as I know, there are a few forum software that do not allow larger size photo to be displayed.

At times the admin may not have the power to mod the software, but let the admin investigate if there is a way around it.

For full display of photo in ALL forums, alway choose photo display size at 640x480 after uploading them up to eg. photobucket. This display size can easily be shown in full in most forums.

thanks for the reply. a possible solution is choosing a theme with dynamic width. also do check around if there's a "frame within a frame" plugin available for the applied cms.

another is to set the message frame size larger. if the option is not within the interface of theme, it will certainly mod-able be inside the css, but some elementary programming knowledge required.

U r right, zxeen. Was trying to do this dynamic width thingy, but couldn't find it in the CSS.

Anyway, it's high time to revamp this site. Still a few more hurdles to face. Migrating old content is difficult. May end up doing something totally new altogether, but will lose all or some of the content here.

just zoom down the viewing page at your internet explorer

just resize the image to 500 pixel width will do.....
