Right. Which one? The Haagen-Dazs?
Hahahahahahahahaha...

Jokes aside..
I also have those ferrite cylinders.
OEM stuffs and not Audioquest.
This kind of thing is like a piece of magnet that clamps to the cable.

I used it for my interconnect long long time ago.
Not a very obvious improvement at that time.

Well, since bassraptor found that it has difference, I would like to give it a second audition again.
Time to dig out the magnets.

haah, rummaging thru my old accessories, i found 2 very interesting set of such things...

one is this brand called Ortho-Spectrum and the "AV Donut".

Another set is by Yammamura-Churchill and the "Millenium Tubes".

I just use them on AC cords. No point putting them on my XLO interconnects since XLO already purposely designed a special twist config without any shielding for utmost transparency / speed / etc etc. Putting ferrite cores on them would be going againts the very essence of its construction.

Well, I going to test on the power cord / conditioner.
I paid more attention to the word "difference" way more than the word "fridge".
Anyway, it is FOC to me. No harm trying, right?

Tried it my ice cream machine power cord before, ok constant flow but the ice cream flow's shape pattern became slimmer, choc ice cream brown color became milky vanilla, less dense and more tasteless.
The machine internal wiring should be changed to good one...

Geez... That means Haagen-Dazs will taste like Wall's liao lor..
I could not test the ferrite cylinders with power cords.
The diameter is too thick.

Dear All,

Happy New Year.

Any one of you heard of the Promitheus Audio "Power Energizer"?

How does it works and the benefits of having it?

Thanks.

there was 1 weird case where a bloke with tube pre, sacd, cj hybrid power amp, & a pair of floorstanding speakers, + a rose voix 4mt pwr filter (exact model with consonance pw1) had humming problems. he went swaping all the ics & pwcord still not solving anything. after loads of suggestions coming from friends on the net, guess what solves that humming issues? just when he decided to plug the cj hybrid direct to the wall socket, everthing went sweet!!

what say you?
