Sun Audio Amp

Any Idea who's the agent for Sun Audio in Malaysia.
From the Star audiophile review on 2003, the agent is Neiro Audio Acoutics at Lukut Port Dickson. The p/no. that given now belong to somebody else.

No more locally. Fyi, hifi business mens been pulling out S.E.T amps out of Malaysia b'cause no market long time ago. Nearest you can get these Sun Audio are from Singapore. Don't be surprise if 1 unit of SV-2A3 may cost you over 6 grand in RM !!!

You're right hasnul/joeling, I got a quote thru my singaporean friend who is close to frankie @ well audio that the price for sv-2a3 cost sgd2500 eq rm6200 and that haven't including tax and shipping . A massive increase
in price since 2003.
I was trying my luck whether the agent still exist or not. No choice but got to hunt for decent SET amp.

sun audio amps sv-2a3 are made in japan right?
i saw a few made in hk selling less than that
im sure it provides diff sound quality

how can u get listening pleasure through a low output SETs?

Have to match carefully with the right speakers. Quality vs quantity. The law of diminishing return. Doubling of power = increase in 3dB SPL. Generally, perceived doubling of loudness = 10dB increase in SPL

The one on ebay from hk are clone. the parts are made from china as oppose to the actual sun audio using japanese tamura transformers.
