i got one old A&R cartridge model C77, but suspect needle putus already. The stylus tip looks flat-spotted and not as sharp as it should be .. anyone got any use for it ?

I have same one, did a stylus transplant some years back from another suitable stylus candidate, forgot how I did it and never got to use it yet as I read somewhere its just another run of the mill budget type. Still prefer the sound of the Shure over many others on the Rega. I believe its of some OEM Japanese make as Rega supplied this as standard for their early R200 arm (S-type). Coincidently that R200 is sourced OEM from Acos Japan.

Hi CMBoy,
I remember Shure can have it Stylus easily detached from the cartridge for replacement. But I am not sure whether Rega Cartridge can do the same or not.

The current Ori Ortofon Cartridge stuck to my Rega P1, I have no idea how to detach the Stylus.

Anyhow, do let me know which Shure cartridge you can recommend that sound good~. Thanks.
