Solit Built, with an all metal chassis (the only piece of gear is plastic on plexi dial)

With 2 speaker connection L/R 2 set of speaker each. Input connection 7 RCA & Din (Micro, T.HD,Aux, 2 phono, Play, & Rec) . Tuner reception excellent (75 ohm ) antenna plug (normal wire will do) stick it on wall or etc ...FM signal done.

generous radiators occupy the flanks, and it is given for 2x 60 watts into 4 ohms (2x 30W into 8 ohms).

Date of manufacture: between 1970 and 1974.

This Thorens was made in Belgium by Georges Carpentier.

Carpentier was also at the origin of the brand CARAD (Carpentier radio) and the 1250 has a twin: the Carad 2001.

The design borrows some details at the time of the amplifiers has lamps: Huge transformer, large capacitors mounted vertically on bars connections, point to point wiring under the chassis.
But especially tuner was state of the art at the time:
HF head of excellent quality with FETs (Görler)
FI card with IC amplifiers,
muting, AFC disconnectable,
level indicators of reception and tuning,
choice of frequency by gyroscopic wheel ...

All sockets are doubled: DIN and RCA!
2 HP series
2 phono inputs, one switchable magnetic / Ceramics
1 input "TAPE HEAD" for direct connection to a magneto
