Dear Bro's,  



Help needed to eliminate 'pop' sound from amp when the power is turned ON. There is a switch for volume to each of the channels at the back of the amp. The volume needs to be lowered when power on. 

Would appreciate some tips on how to solve this problem?

Maybe u can alternate 'on' ur chain of equipment like maybe on de pwr amp first then pre then source or sumting like tat..
Personally.. my Rotel rmb985 only pops when u pwr off, not on.. n its a veri slight pop..

Thanks Dirtrun,

Have tried but still same. I have even replace the capacitor next to the power switch. Everytime have to lower down the switch at the back of the amp.

Anyone out there face this problem before ??

is to leave de set on ..
Does it go on standby mode if it auto detects no input??

May I know what is the power amp connected to? What happens when it is not connected to any source?
