Selling one pair B&W (Bower & Wilkins) Silver Signature 30 Floor Stand Speakers

The R&D department went to town with these, with an entirely new design using all silver wiring, from binding post to voice coil. Silver is a much better conductor than copper but obviously more expensive. It became their benchmark at the time (1999), and many features of this prestige model were incorporated into later Nautilus speakers (but in copper for cost savings). The cabinets have matrix bracing technology for minimal internal resonance and the bobinga finish is simply gorgeous. The quality of the cabinets is first rate: real wood almost an inch thick. It is hard to get the glossy cabinets to show well in pictures. In real life, they are a swirly red toned bobingo wood and truly beautiful.
