Dali speaker sound?

Their helicon oledi can rock, rock, rock!!!!! Jaws drop!!! The musicians are in your room la!!!

The model that I listened to (not mine, can't remember the model) was quite good with rock stuffs, and to play LOUD...

so do it do the same job when lisent to jazz and what amp do u friend use?

I listen to jazz and a bass head.. definitely not my kind of speakers.. Have no idea what amp my friend was using... Speakers was tested at my place..

Do listen to the big Dalis, those that needed at least 3 persons to carry each unit! Then u may know if it can do your jazz, your rock and classicals.

I have since moved from bookshelf to floorstanders.. definitely not looking back..

i once auditioned a Dali Ikon 2
paired with NAD CDp (545BEE) & Amp (100w BEE can't remember the excact model)

the results were quite smooth, sweet and a touch of warmth
very well played for a bookshelf

Hi, I have the old Dali Royal Minuette 2. It sound 3D and very alive.

But do sound a bit small/shut in for male vocal. Again, you dont expect such a small speaker to have a grand sound to reproduce the male vocal with more body.

Not sure about the newer generation though.
