Pre amp output

Post by dennis611 on Thu Jan 14, 2010 4:48 pm

Hi to all

Just wondering if my amp does not have the output, can it be added in by some form of modification?

I know it's been done on the old Pioneer A400 integrated.

Integrated amplifier as we know it houses the preamp and the power amp together. A matter of tapping the connections at the right points of the circuits..

Sounds not an easy task and a bit risky. Not a diy person of this sort. Will preamp enhance the sound etc if mine is just an entry level amp. Thanx bros

Simple advice. Employ someone who's able to do mods for this if one isn't a diy'er nor knowledgeable of electronics.

You wouldn't know until it is done and if it is worth the effort.
Otherwise get proper preamp.

get a proper preamp or an integrated with preamp out.

if u modify yr integrated amp, yr warranty will no longer be valid (if it is still under warranty).

also, it will reduce its resale value.
