HELP!! yup its not the beatles infamous song but..

Post by azri on Fri Jan 15, 2010 10:56 am

im stuck on deciding whats the best thing to opt for. currently im having a 6bL8 tube pre (ca arctic ic) + rotel 60w pwr amp + pioneer twin dacs cdp + local made bookshelf. it sounded just nice.

but i am experimenting some tubes sound, so feeling a bit 'gatai' & 'tak senang duduk', seeking some advice from u guys before deciding.

the options are :
~ 6L6gc denmark tube amp, 18w + 18w push pull, it runs like mono block, 2 amps but single power supply.
~ audiospace kt88 as-8i mark iii - won 04 hk review mags
~ 6L6 mini SET - 8w + 8w

all of the above will be driven by my tekton 6.5 fullrange

or

last but not least - yaqin tube buffer to run between cdp & amp end up on my tannoy sixers.

this will be final purchase, after this no more, so pls advice. tqs
