There's a set at that new hifi shop at Summit USJ. Subang Jaya.
Rogers 15 Ohm . Best if u give them a call and see if its still there or not.

Otherwise, Audio Image in Sec.19 (near SS2), Petaling Jaya has a set of 1st generation Ho's LS3/5a which according to Joe Ki (u all know Joe Ki right??) , has the best tonality and is the closest match to the original LS3/5a and this one being a more modern speaker has the advantage of slightly better dynamics.

Thanks for informing. Did Jo say Ho's LS3/5A has the best tonality? I'm a bit surprised to hear this. Anyway, he is Joseph Ki or Jo Ki, without "e".

Yes. Joe Ki, Jo Ki, Joseph Ki ... same person.

Allow me to re-clarify (unless i heard him wrongly). He said Ho's first production batch of the LS3/5a has best tonality and is closest to the original BBC LS3/5a among all the Ho' series. The subsequent production runs did not sound as good.

But the REFERENCE POINT is still the ORIGINAL LS3/5a speakers that are now very hard to come by, and over-priced and too over-rated in the used market.

Wears specs, frizzy long hair... unshaven "relax" look.
