An audio/motoring legend passes on - RIP: Shahriza Hussein
Shahriza Hussein, who founded AudioVision and Auto International magazines, passed away after an illness on Jan 23, around 10.30pm.
Shah wrote for AudioFile from the mid-1990s to about 5-6 years ago, after which he gradually retired from writing about audio to concentrate on his book, Legacy, which was published a couple of years ago.
I hear he was unwell for a while; unfortunately, I wasn't in touch with him for some years. My loss.
He was one of the finest writers we had at AudioFile. Rest in peace, Shah.

Life is short. The same goes for Robert Lam of TV3 former newscaster. Met him 2 years ago and he is gone now. May his soul rest in peace.

Yes, remembered him from some of reviews, and his love of his Luxman amp and his Thiel, and one review with 'Fersina' windows somehow mentioned in it.. Sad to hear of his demise.. Al fatihah..

Wow, you remember.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep after being admitted into hospital for a few days, he was having difficulty breathing. Doctors said his heart was functioning only at 15% by then ...

For me, he is akin to Art Dudley from Stereophile or Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear
.. might wonder a bit in his writing/reviews, but always getting to a point and passionate on his work or hobby. A sad loss indeed..
