Audio Note DAC 4.1 Kit (Fully Assembled) (Used) - HUGE PRICE DROP!

Up for sale is one of the renowned R2R non-oversampling ("NOS") DACs with technology from Audio Note UK.

Price : RM6,000 nego (New was USD3,100 excluding shipping from Canada and taxes)
Condition : 8/10 (very little use as I have too many DACs so its not fully burnt in yet)
The unit I have for sale here is purchased as a DIY kit (but it is a genuine Audio Note item). I purchased this back in February 2016 and was assembled by a reputable local builder (Black Octagon) in June 2016. The DAC is fully functional with a single digital coax input and both single ended and balanced outputs.
The sound is smooth, analogue sounding and full bodied yet transparent. Timbre and tone is realistic without glare/etch typical of digital music. However, if the recording is sub-par, it will flow through to your speakers/headphones as well.
As mentioned above, i have several DACs on rotation and with work schedules getting longer, i hardly have time to listen.
I also listen solely with headphones so this DAC should find a better/more suitable home.
