Core Power Technologies Equi=Core Balanced Power Cord About_02

This is not just a conductor with different mineral, it is a power cord with the greatest functionality. It has been reported as neutral, quiet and with a lot of transparency. The tonal is just right.

BORN DIRECTLY FROM SCIENCE
Introducing the Equi=Core 300 model of fully Balanced Power Cable Systems. These are remarkable products born directly of science and delivered in an affordable and robust package designed for your audio/video or computer system needs.

BALANCED POWER
Balanced Power as a technology has been proven to improve system performance on many levels; lower noise, eliminate hum and offer a finer degree of available resolution component to component – not to mention a degree of added protection. The problem to date is these devices have been very expensive, cumbersome and limited to the overall power spec of the device. You exceed the available power and no dice – system overload.

Price: RM2990.00 for 300W 2.5ft model, inclusive shipping to anywhere in Malaysia. Distributed by Curve Acoustics.

Please contact us at 014-6959 685 for special introductory price.

Core Power Technologies Equi=Core Balanced Power Cord Empty Re: Core Power Technologies Equi=Core Balanced Power Cord

Why do I need balanced power?

Power standards for electricity were adopted many decades ago and haven't changed significantly since. With the advent of highly sensitive electronic applications, electrically induced interference has become a matter of concern to engineers. When electrical interference is present in any sensitive electronics, equipment performance will be limited by the noise. The problem is critical in many areas of high-tech electronic engineering, among them, the sound recording and video industries. A very low noise level is crucial in these areas because literaly, the noise can be seen and heard.

The dynamic range of the entire electronic signal chain determines the quality of the final product in all recording environments. The presence of any electrical interference at all lowers the S/N ratio of the recording. This limits the subtle detail and realism of the sound or image. Low level signals are lost in the noise floor of the system.

Sound quality can also be affected by intermodulation distortion occurring as a result of the presence of ac noise in the audio or digital signal bandwidth. Even if the noise level is inaudible, it is likely that program material will be colored by the presence of electrical interference.

In more sophisticated areas of application, for example high-end digital signal processing (such as broadcast automation or even MDM recording), unacceptable error rates are often attributed to background electrical interference. Digital jitter is the "smoking gun" that points to high frequency AC noise. Digital jitter is caused in part by high frequency electrical interference approximating the bit stream rate of the digital signal.

Balanced power eliminates all of these problems because there is never ac interference present on the ground to invade signal circuits. Balanced power often increases the dynamic range of a recording system by 16db or more. When balanced power is applied, ground loops and hum problems, even subtle ac noise coloration becomes a thing of the past. The difference can be astonishing.

Customer review:

"With the EQUI=CORE, everything seemed so much more three-dimensional and effortless, and was stunned to hear small cues all throughout that I’ve never heard before – tiny the micro dynamics like instrument keys clicking and such. The presentation sounded SO much bigger and more dynamic, with deeper and more enveloping bass and a much deeper soundstage… and all this from a CD rip! The noise floor dropped noticeably lower, yielding a deeper blackness from which the sound could emerge."

A customer said,

"Without any significant burn in, this cord(150) has proved to be magical for me/system. This is almost like a component upgrade. Having used cables 5 times expensive, none has had such a positive impact.

The "price to performance" ratio is off the charts."

Core Power Technologies Equi=Core Balanced Power Cord Empty Re: Core Power Technologies Equi=Core Balanced Power Cord

Yet, another testimony,

Considering the many, many brands of power cords I've tried in my very well accomplished high-end system, I have never been so impacted by these Core Power Technology power cords. Within a very short period(15-20) minutes my system literally came alive. Soundstage opened wider and deeper. The background became dead silent, space between instruments and stage members were more focused and everything sounded cleaner and musical than ever. My highs had a glorious crispness and symbols shimmered. Midrange through my 2" horn became more dynamic and punchy. My 15" bass driver tightened and dug low with great control. My Rel G1 which is a fabulous sub on its own but with a CPT 150 on it is another story. Running high pass from my sub to my Audiozen Noah amplifier, music depth is just stunning. Lower end bass is authoritative and clean with solid grip and impact.
My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.
