KSA50S Power Amp - KSL 2 Pre-amp! (Newly added KSL2)

Just arrived at our APS Shop at the Amcorp Mall is a pair of the classic Krell Pre-amplifer (KSL 2) and the highly sought after KSA 50S Power Amplifier.  They need little introduction as the KSL Pre-amplifier was designed to match the sonic performance of Krell's Power amps.  

KSL 2 Pre-Amplifier - RM 4800



The KSA 50S Power Amplifier employs Krell's proprietary & intelligent Sustain Plateau Biasing method to deliver Class A operation from 50 Watts per channel at 8 ohms, doubling it's power output at lower impedances: 100 watts at 4 ohms, 200 watts at 2 ohms and a whopping 400 watts at 1 ohm or less. To meet these stringent parameters & specifications, Krell golden era of amplifiers were over-engineered, and over spec'd.  The KSA 50S employs a fully balanced circuitry as well.  As typical of Krell amplifiers, the sound reproduction is sweet, seductive and musical as well as the typical extraordinary bass performance. If you use bookshelf speakers with the KSA 50s, your bookshelves will take on a sound stage and coherence that will amaze you.  Literally, bookshelves seem to have "grown" up!  Magical for floor standers full range speakers as well!
