NAKAMICHI BX300 3 Head Cassette Deck

Post by Wan Azami Hamzah on Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:38 am

Serous tapeheads only apply.....
There will never be serious cassette decks again, and Nakamichi was once King.

Selling my beloved Nak BX300
Direct Drive, Twin Capstans, Discrete Nakamichi 3 head deck.
Full working/functioning both in playback and recording.
New belts.
Demagged by Mr Oh.
Cosmetics 9/10. As good as you can get for a deck of this vintage.
Local voltage

This is a late model gear idler version so no rubber idler wheel to worry about.
Superb sound. Even with cheap type 1 tapes the recording is very close to source. With Chrome and Metal crazy good. Plays prerecorded tapes extremely well too. Top of the BX series. When Nakamichi were still serious making cassette decks in Japan before the invasion of CD and digital.... Later models were made here in Malaysia and Taiwan to cut costs and not to the same standards.
Sound is very very close to my Nakamichi CR7 deck. Same heads, same transport, except that CR7 has auto azimuth and is much more sophisticated.

Reluctant sale so please please pardon me as to the price want as I find it hard to part with this awesome baby. Ebay prices for a claimed working BX300 are crazy and you still have to bid and then pay for courier, however you cannot test it before buying. Most worrying it can get damaged during shipment. Cassette decks having so many moving parts.

Juat look at Ebay prices for claimed working BX300:
Here I can demo in full to your satisfaction. So serious tapeheads only apply not the casual hobbyist.

Asking for RM2400 ono

Whatsap me 0192063100 for pictures and close up details.....

Thank you.
