Classic NAIM Audio System -Pre-Amp, Power Amplifier with SNAPS

Naim’s “WORLD CLASS SOUND…”
Beautifully designed Classic Chrome Bumper Naim Audio power and pre-amplifier with Naim SNAPS.
Made in England
Naim NAC 42 Preamp with voltage supply cable and signal cable (RCA)
Tuner, Phono, Tape inputs but can be used with other sources, includes SNAIC cable to connect pre and power amp as well as mains lead.
One of the earlier preamp’s manufactured by Naim Audio, mid 80’s
*NA 328/2 boards installed.
For non-NAIM CD Player, 328 boards gives a more Naim-like sound.
Naim Audio NA 328/2 Variable Line Level boards to allow an extra line input and to attenuate high level source signal (CD/Tuner)
“NA 328 has variable sensitivity for high-level inputs, 25 mV – 375 mV, 47 kOhms impedance.
The preset on NA 328 should be adjusted using small insulated screwdriver, turn anti-clockwise for maximum gain, clockwise for
minimum gain.
Turn fully clockwise for use with CD players.”
Designed to be used with Naim SNAPS power supply (which had a single 24 volt rail)
Outboard power supplies were offered by NAIM Audio to improve performance of both the preamp and amps, a quieter source which enables the preamp/amp to operate solely as individual.
Naim NAP 110 Stereo Power Amplifier
45 watt per channel into 8 ohms of Naim amplification (high gain, high current) to drive low efficiency speakers
Original Naim 4-pin signal cable included.
The power inlet was a round 3 pin one circa 1980’s which Naim used up to the introduction of the more modern “kettle” type IEC socket.
It accepts RCA line level signal as well.
Fantastic legendary Pre and Power amps which punches well above its weight for “clarity”, “power“ and “timing”.
Great cosmetic condition, electronically perfect!
