Re: technical question regarding speakers & xovers
not recommended as the X-over components' values are selected based on the woofer's own impedance load.
X-overs are only effective for the woofers/tweeters they are designed for.
If u swap the woofers/tweeters, then the rollover freqs and highpass/lowpass attenuations will lari.
If u got access to PSPICE or some other circuit emulation software, u can test this out for yourself before attempting a real-world SNAFU.

Re: technical question regarding speakers & xovers
i dont have such eq. tqs 4 the advise. anyways, when there are 2 sets speaker terminals on amp (A & B), & with speakers that are bi-wireable, is it possible to use both output like A for high freq & B for LOw freq?

Re: technical question regarding speakers & xovers
sounds more like biwiring to me.
biamping means using two amps - preamp must have two sets of outputs connected to two power amps which are then connected to the speakers.
with an amp that has two sets of speaker outputs (speaker a and speaker b) it is perfectly ok to use two pairs of cables to connect them to the bass and tweeter terminals of the biwireable speakers. just switch the speaker a and b buttons on.
remember to remove the jumpers from the speaker terminals.
