Hi Mugen Foo, it's nice of u to come by to check on us! I wondered why my other friends in hifi4sale, was so excited when they called me to tell me they saw Mugen at Frankie's place! Now I get the same feeling when I saw u sitting at the sofa at Audio Image, as we walked out of the listen room!

Some say mugenfoo is actually The Stig!! hahahahahaha..

excuse me, I have been a regular at Audio Image for almost 20 years already.


tlkoo could be suffering from a serious case of p*n*s envy here..... don't be like dat lar ... dun worry , you also can come visit audio image. Last I checked, there isnt any big sign in front of that place saying "TLKOO Not Allowed Inside". People's shop doing retail business is open for all one. Come come, don't be shy. So far, there are only a few proponents of this setup: a few moderators here, Jo Ki (aka the 3-5 guy) , and yours truly.

Feel free to state your opinions. Might the bass be too mild compared to your 6-subwoofers ?

Why is there a need for u to know why others think? Enlighten please. Will it make a difference what the 'moderators' think and what the rest of the forummers who have listen think?

Yes, some say the Mugenfoo is actually Michael Schumacher. Others say he is the original drummer from the Foo Fighters. Whatever they say, I think Mugenfoo is actually one cool dude oooozing with technical knowledge.

yeah, but some people cannot understand it, so they call it regurgitate or some other term. Which actually only exposes their own sour-grapes or envious responses. Its like some colour-blind people wanting to take an authoritative stand on colour references and go so far as to even put down their own guru statements.

Favourite one so far is that: for twice the loudness, need 10x power. But maybe newbies like wataru will take it as the gospel truth instead. Good for them... And don't forget to ear-tune and get FM-curve sound ya!

For me I do enjoy reading your techie inputs and as well as from the other forummers.

Why don't you stop while you are ahead and chill out ....divert your know how to an advisory mode ... if they don't accept leave it... their loss ( vice versa ) ....... its still exercise for your fingers ...

( the above goes to the other warring faction as well )

Just take it that there are two school of thoughts here;

1. the scientific bunch

and

2. the ear drum bunch ( experienced )

Mugenfoo, whoever you are, why not just have a demo on your system for interested souls like us to listen and learn how a true to recording system should sound? Unc Vic, why don't you also do a demo with your system on how the ear tune and fm curve theory applies? It will also be good for the both of you to post photos of both your hifi system here.

He said lack of bass. Could be the effect of pinging engine due to fuel octane rating too low.

Most likely to be the ears discrimination of the low frequencies as was evident in the FM curve when engine is at low rpm.
