Higher prices on used items

sikalang used hifi items still selling at their old price when introduced. Most of the items already 6-7 years. or even 10 years old but still selling at RM700-800 or higher. That price was the original price back then. why is this happening?

Maybe some of the used items are rare and very sought after buy some type of collectors ?

That's another reason why enthusiast are turning towards the WEB to get Hifi related accessories and at times even the primary gear itself.

Just compare the prices of "Tubes /Valves" that are being sold locally .......

or

A relatively aged AMP of a British make would cost you in a similar price range of a newer model but less a few hundred dollars.

The only difference is the earlier is entirely made in the UK, where else the later is built in China or another third world country.
