Proton integrated amp. This US branded amplifier is very musical and was one of the famous amplifiers on sale at its prime, side by side with NAD302 amplifier. Proton and NAD were related because they had their gear built in the same factory. The Proton gear specified better parts however.

This Proton AM-455 is an audiophile-quality integrated amplifier with a power rating of 50 watts/channel RMS. The internals were well made and there is a huge R-core transformer .

It can be used as a preamplifier with Pre-Outs.
