so which amp would be "up to your expectations" ?

My first post specifically mentioned MINT condition and a scratched frontal does not meet that requirement

It may be difficult to find one that fits your requirement if that is the case since there are not many who own the current models of Naim amps in Malaysia. You might want to consider buying brand new from CMY. Both Steve(1Utama) and Michael(Giza) are your friendly dealers.

exactly .... so the "expectations" are easily met by buying a brand spanking new Naim amp then.

If only you knew the real situation. Cmy hasn't had any NEW 250.2 for ages and hence the search for a used MINT. I believe it is my choice and rights to purchase a unit to my expectations. Appreciate one does not pre judge before knowing the facts...

well ... if CMY is lazy to bring in the new model .. there are "other" channels to get it in also ..... as long as u got the $$, can get one.

If u are serious abt it, i can hook u up.

How about taking a drive down to Singapore to bring back a new one? Perhaps can even save a few bucks. If customs stop you, you can always ask them to "tolong".

If you fly, can even claim back the GST so it's even cheaper.

A demo unit of 250.2 is always available in the showroom for customers to test out. The dealer will only order one when the customer confirms a purchase. This is quite normal as the classic Naim separate amps are quite costly and dealers would want to avoid keeping stock in their showroom when they can't sell any of them. Which branch did you go to, the Adelphi or the Singapore shopping center, and which person did you speak to?

If one intends to bring back an item from Singapore, shouldn't one make a call first to the dealer there so they can get their stock ready? Agree with Ryder, this is not mass market AV Receiver that the dealers will have ample stock in hand.

Was in CMY Uptown yesterday and there was a new NAP 250.2 in a box, but it was already spoken for.
