Not sure abt car audio tech. If your sub is an active sub (witrh buult-in amplifier) and it has audio input, then you only need to connect to these RCA.
Re: How to change/connect car subwoofer into home av receiver? Pls need guidance
assuming most car subs are passive and 4ohms, you need 3 things
1) spare Y-RCA cable. Y = 1-terminal at one end to 2-terminals at the other end.
2) spare old/cheap integrated/av amp that can drive ***4OHM*** speakers
3) spare spkr cables
on the back of the onkyo, connect sub-out, to spare amp's aux/cd inputs. then, spkr cables out from spare amp to your passive sub. then, control sub volume from your onkyo remote.
*** don't even think about connecting Onkyo's Speaker B with a pair of wires to the sub. even if it could handle the impedence drop, you're not getting the (.1) sub channel.
or you could save the hassle and buy one of them neighbours'-roof-rattling SVS subs from our dealer here
