Hi Everyone,

I just wondering to all fellow forumer, do you guys know anyone who can provide local wood work services. It can be any project that have to do with wood and able to do according to a simple technical drawing. A good carpenter is good for diy project specially for those who looking for exotic look in their hifi setup.

Maybe some of you want to share your personal project here...anyone..???

Hi wabun

Been looking at your DIY preamp chassis & speaker and I'm impress....You seams to have a decent tools for wood working and hands on skill for it.....Would you able to make a simple box for amps out from a bamboo cutting board....???

Hi..the speaker enclosure i sent for a carpenter to do it, it cost me about 1K for the wood work, reason for high price is due to the material, it uses marine ply for baffle, .75 chipboard for side ,real wood veneer and internal bracket. The preamp chassis I just do it for fun,it can be easily done by any carpenter..sorry as I din do wood work for sell...if you do come across Ipoh, PM me, I can bring you to the carpenter and have some tea session..cheers !

Had this idea in my head for some time...What if we use plywood but cut to shape like a gasket and layer them up..wont we have something like a magico speaker? this way there's no joins between the sides resulting in a stronger box.
