at last I can decide based on my own spending power ( just a level entry) and also not entirely based on magazine recommendation (those 5 star rating)...just spend a new CD player yesterday (NAD C515BEE yeap, u read those right as that is the most I can spend and easy on my ear against Marantz CD5003 and Rotel RCD-06)...and put it on my vintage system..i.e Pioneer A400 and Tannoy 611...well as ppl said, the upgrade never end, as maybe getting too old, now itchy to get those NAD Amp even it is a budget as getting lazy too keep the volume up & down by walking to it...but i don't know is it an upgrade by ditching the Pioneer A400 for those NAD amp, never think one day I will settle for NAD gears as last time have those mind set of cheapo NAD...now i just trust my own ears and own spending power...(hehe this is my 2nd post after joining here)

kdnfz,
Funny Next you will be too lazy to scratch your b*m, and you will hire a filipina to do that for you...."can you work the front end too while you're at it"!

Hi End vs Entry level ..... what does that mean? Sound, budget?
For many, its the wallet that is the distinguishing factor.

For budget - Entry level could be a 20k set-up for Mr deep pockets, so its a blur grey line.
For Sound - well it all depends on perception doesnt it. Many have never minded listening to stereo boxes and enjoying their tunes.

Cheers.

If only people made love all the time, we'd worry less about inconsequential things ... happy endings for everyone forever ...

Oh, I just realised ... audiophiles would be rating the quality of sound emerging from their partners too fastidiously to reach climax... ... that's another ideal shot!

ok, mugen, have your say ...
