I've occasionally read in reviews where the system is good because it transports you to the studio/venue. On other occasions they say it brings the musicians into your room (you can touch/fondle them etc).

I guess for imaging, it should be,'they are here'; for flat response-sounds closest to live it should be 'you are there'?

And for you are there, can you beat headphones, taking out your room acoustics and giving you absolute resolution to hear even the tiniest sound that got recorded? There is something about nearfield low powered music.

What do you think and prefer?
