Multi Bit vs single Bit Cdp

Curious to know what is the main different in the sound characteristic between multi bit and single bit players.
And why most of the cdps in the market uses single bit?

why don't u listen to both a multibit vs a single bit player and tell us what u hear to be the differences instead ?
