lp sleeves inner and outer

Where I am , it's Amcorp Mall. In Penang, haven't the faintest idea!

Really good quality paper or plastic sleeves are not easy to come by. Those I've seen at Amcorp are just useable and not for fussy people.
I just wonder if mass production of quality paper sleeves can be profitable or not, if there's a market, I may jump into this to make an extra buck. Trouble is, people want cheap cheap cheap and thats a problem. Cheap and best quality not easy to come by.
My last lot of paper sleeves were from one audio shop (years ago) and that was the best I've had but pricy. Can't blame lor.. quality comes at a price. I think its RM1 per piece, could be more now.

Better have 'useable' ones that none at all.

Nagoaka anti-static inner sleeves can still be purchased from some places - Singapore has a better chance though once a while I see them at some places like Valve & Vinyl (I think they go by another name now) at JayaOne. I find then very good in reducing static to the LP which helps with removing dust. But they are not anti-mould and the LP can grow mould or is it fungus ? One of my friends used to make anit-fungal inner sleeves and I purchased a couple of packs from him before. But the problem is they are not anti-static and the LP tends to attract dust after some playing. I wish they have BOTH anti-static and anti-fungus inner sleeves.

I think outer sleeves are quite readily available. BUT, from what I remember, they tend to be expensive. So I usually don't bother with the outer sleeve/jacket. Audio Image may still have some outer sleeves available I think (never checked recently).

Sorry, I can confirm those are no longer available. He made it on special order and took orders from a group of us and then make just enough. The outer sleeves may still be available though. I can check for you. As for the Nagoaka inner sleeves, you will need to go to JayaOne to check out the V&V shop.

Nagaoka sleeves are perhaps among the best plastic sleeves money can buy and have them amongst some precious Lp's for like more than 2 decades already? No idea how much they cost now.
But my preference is still quality paper sleeves.

The ones I have haven't the faintest sign of yellowing or mould for a decade now, so I guess they're good to go.
