- Simaudio i-3 is the predecessor model to i3.3 and current model of 340i (RRP of US$3,600 w/o DAC and phonoboard modules). Last RRP price for i-3 was US$2,500 before it was being updated into i3.3. Local retail price was RM6.8K ;

- Huge 680VA toroidal transformer outputting 100W into 8ohm / 160W into 4ohm / 200W into 2ohm with first 5W into class A ;

- Fast transient response and got the timing factor right ;

- Zero-feedback bipolar output stage design with a sweet and warm tonal balance ;

- Input A4 bypasses gain stage of preamp to accommodate an external AV processor ;

- Designed to be powered up at all times for optimal performance at a low operating temperature for long life expectancy without need for recapping after few years ;

- Amp proudly made in Canada ; and
