Re: Ferrite Snap Bead Magnet
Emm... I have seen a lot of this at Audio Sythesis, Amcorp Mall. Range from small at RM5 to RM10 for a bigger one.

Re: Ferrite Snap Bead Magnet
Hi Wingman,
New Year Greetings to u too. Standwell next to hong leong bank has some various sizes. The other shop is on the other side before the Lian Hup towards towards the mosque, can't recalled the exact name la. Just slip my mine and i don't have any bills from the shop with me. All I can recalled is the shop sign has a pic of the globe on 1 side of the signage which is beize in colour.
I bought some from there, and it's much cheaper than the shops in amcorp mall.

Re: Ferrite Snap Bead Magnet
correct me if i am wrong but ferrite beads are not magnetic even though they can be magnetised.
generally they are used to cut off rfi at very high frequencies - around 100 MegaHz.
U can use them around any cable - interconnects, digital cables, power cords and even speaker cables.
but experiment first cos some have reported that they can make the treble dim or make the sound seem 'slower'.
