The HT1F monitor speakers are essentially LCR speakers.

The pair you see here came from full JBL home theater system that produced a very impressively realistic sound stage when playing a movie soundtrack.

The twin 5″ woofers and twin 1″ titanium dome tweeters can produce some high energy levels when demanded.

Even with music, the speakers sounded more like studio monitors with very precise note for note reproduction.

This is probably expected with its THX certification.

Overall, these are enjoyable speakers and adding a subwoofer to the mix will elevate the enjoyment level.



The speaker can be used vertically or horizontally (vertically is recommended) and the whole effect of matched speakers is truly stunning!

Cosmetically, the speakers looks good.
