i have a CDM4/19 one whole complete mech
it can read but skipping randomly
Go for a skilled person to adjust might solve the issue.

if you can accept good!
if you can not accept,u can still use the other working components (motor)as back up

There is a laser beam emitted through the lens if you look closely. However it doesn't read CD.
