Yamaha CA-1000 (240V) Class A/AB Integrated Amp (Used) SOLD

This is one of the best integrated amplifier from Yamaha golden era in 70an - 80an. CA-1000 is the Japan domestic model which is the same as CA-1010 (International model).

This is the first of its kind amp at the era that able to switch Class A / Class AB operation. The user can enjoy both amplification class A/AB by a selector switch at the front panel.

Yamaha utilised many audiophile design & components in the unit, ALPS 4-gang volume pot, DC couple interstage, SRPP Output & etc. Beefy power supply with oversized transformer & 18,000uF x2 power capacitors. All these housed in the heavy stylish wooden casing.

CA-1000 has great drive & finesse. Class AB 75W/ch, Class A 15W/ch.

All buttons & switches are all working perfectly. The RCA & speaker terminals inputs at the rear panel are all very clean. Speaker terminal have been changed to accept Banana plugs.

The wooden casing is re-sprayed by professional carpenter to restore to its former glory.

Upgraded Note:
1) This is the Japan local set (100V version) made in Japan. However, the internal voltage selectable wired to 240V. So you don't need a step down transformer (save cost!!!).
2) Power input upgraded to an IEC socket so that you can utilise your own better power cord.
3) Speaker Terminal upgraded to accept Banana plug.
4) Wooden Casing re-sprayed by professional
