Principal Design
The cables of the ACCUSTIC ARTS? POWER CORD series are of a very
elaborate design and, in many ways, extremely different from standard
power cords. Power cords, when connecting electronic devices, play a
very big role in the transmission of power line noise, which can cause
distortion to audio signals. To avoid these phenomena, there are quite a
few steps that can be taken, for example: shielding.
Shielding is not only being used under the outer covering of the
ACCUSTIC ARTS? POWER CORD FERRITE II but additionally, each of the
three copper conductors are shielded with a very elaborate ?Ferrite-Compound?
covering. Due to this absorbing layer over the copper conductor,
the power cord acts like a ?low pass?-filter without influencing the low
frequency music signal.
High frequencies are absorbed by the magnetical and dielectrical loss of
the ?Ferrite-Compound? covering and transformed into heat. The damping
is proportional to the length of the cord.
