6moons.com – transparent, neutral and highly resolved. Coherent, natural and sans emphasis. Bass extends low and remains well controlled for its class. The midband is exceptionally uncoloured and lucid. The treble bypasses hardness and exhibits phenomenal microdynamic reflexes.

hifi-review.com – Trebles need only those delicate nuances, which expensive Dynaudio models are famous for. The high-frequency “signature” though turns out to be rich in details, but still a little simplistic.



hifinews.com – Excite 38 packs a serious punch. Bass is tremendously tight and fast, with subjectively fine extension too, given the speaker’s modest proportions. The midband has good presence, making the X38 an excellent monitor for analysing a recording’s fine detail when you want to critically ‘listen in’, while the tweeter exhibits plenty of sparkle without fatiguing hardness.
