- The equalizer amplifier has an input stage with Yamaha's original dual FET and a class A SEPP output stage with a transistor.
- Built-in class-A / class-B switching circuit provides high output for class-B and high transparency for class-A.
- Circuits are analyzed using CAD methods.
- Focus on returning to basics with Class A after the dominance of Class B solid-state amplifiers.
- The CA-1000ii became a long line of successful, reliable, and heavy amplifiers.
- Unique features include two-sided circuit boards, low-noise MC preamp, variable loudness control, and switchable Class A / Class AB modes.
