an easy diy project- home surveillance

a diyer is a diyer, numerous things he would love to diy other than audio stuff, perhaps household diy projects could make one appear macho eh


not sure how others feel, though me less capable diyer, i am just proud to have recently diyed home surveillance system:

this project came up with my simple logic that webcam +control unit/engine/computer should work, accordingly i have found "yawcam"... this simple surveillance system is motion triggered programable to snap based on frames per second as desired, the computer is set to kick these mails to any designated pop3 mailbox receivable via computer or even smartphone! there are certainly other functions... what are they? how i did it??? you diy lah...



by the same token, gps +auto-cruise, should also work alas sophisticated auto-cruise may not come by easily, your project?
