Supra LoRad power cable on sale?

I've seen lots of Supra LoRad cable on sale and I wonder why?. Is it due to its performance, quality issue?...

According to review it is very value, but how it perform when compare to those furutech?

Is it some power cord has special design perform best for low current(eg.cd player) or high current(eg.power amp)?
When choosing a power cord is it purpose of design important?

I think so, yes. Some power cable are specially design for high current power usage equipment like power amp or mono blocks. Those cables are much thicker (Gauge). For digital equipments like CDP or DAC, only low wattage they consume so giving them a big snake cables is not necessary too, may make the sound worst too.

I'm also beginning to wonder, coz my friend, he sold me his Supra LoRad 2.5 power cable rm 85.00 for 1.5 m...while, from here we can see rm 220.00...the same item..

But, i'm quite happy with the performance...

Your friend sell the power cord to you at a reasonable price,
cos i saw in pasar road at RM82/meter, bared wire (Without connector).

supras are a good cables "no-nonsense" like it says - if you are using a power conditioner, this could be very good! especially the 2.5 power cable but the connectors do also play a minor part.
